Work Out, Get Fit Thread

I lowkey hate when I end up having a convo w somebody at the gym. I’m the type that just wanna be in my zone the whole time w my headphones in, but once you speak to somebody one time they expect you to say something every time you see em. Is that just me?
 
Wanna join the gym but i have one of the worst sleep patterns of anyone i know bc of my job.

Is working out still as effective if ur sleep is out of whack?

Nah, I hate talking to people too. I just don't make eye contact. Head down, head boppin.

Just joined a new gym that's closer to my new house

It's got EVERYTHING I'll ever need and then some

Might start Tuesday
 
Decided that i am going to spend the rest of the year focusing on deadlifts.


Think I let my form slip on the last two reps.

your ass comes up first and your legs are pretty much locked so youre kinda doing two moves. when you go heavier, its gonna be rooough on your lower back

sore, but not to the point where i cant move my arms

feel pretty good actually

Anyone got any tips on working out at home? It's been like a month since I've stopped drinking beer and hard liquor. It's just been all water. I feel great since I stopped but I wanna get active.

Start with the basics; sit ups push ups planks

Get a pull up bar, that shit nice. After you build a routine grab some free weights
 
I can’t work out at home because I’ll know I’ll be lazy. But yea pushups and squats to start. Once you master regular pushups you should put your feet on some steps or the stairs for more weight on your upper body
 
Whenever I get done with a good cardio, weight lifting workout & boxing workout then I step out the gym to outside like I'm Thanos
