I wonder what direction they are heading with the next trilogy, are they going to continue rey's story or are they going to do something new. maybe the trilogy will be about the old republic though I don't know much about it. I think stand alones and spin offs are the way to go. I saw art for a lego set for han solo movie that was leaked accidently. I think it will be a good movie. i'd like to see a boba fett solo film or a film about vader that takes place two or 3 years after episode 3 that shows him hunting down remaining jedi throughout the galaxy.
Ridley's said she won't re-sign which honestly to me seems stupid because she's not that talented or pretty to being trying to pull a power play like this and piss off Disney in the process if they had plans for her to be involved... she might end up being the next Lacey Chabert or Lee Lee Sobieski if she's not careful overestimating her standing in the biz. Even Evan Rachel Wood stopped fucking around when it was causing her career to come into question.

The next trilogy from most indications will not be connected to the Skywalker saga but what exactly it will involve and when it will be set since they've long since abandoned Lucas and his blueprint/ideas is a mystery to everyone but Johnson and Kennedy at this point.

How do you know when she was born? Nobody knows because we've not seen it happen and we don't have a confirmed time frame of the events between ROTJ and TFA.

Why would Kenobi be watching her from the afterlife unless he has some connection to her? Ben appeared to Luke in TESB as he was his first master and because Yoda became his after Qui-Gon's death. Vader was able to sense Kenobi on the Death Star because he was formerly Kenobi's Padawan. With no connection to Rey, why would he know her name and call it out, because he's some old space pervert keeping an eye on all the young women he doesn't know across the galaxy?

Her parents being nobodies makes no sense since it is apparent the connection to The Force is inherited due to high levels of midichlorians in force users blood and considering the Jedi were all but wiped out, unless her mom or dad got a fucking blood transfusion from a Jedi/Sith then how is she so adept so quickly at using her abilities? If they didn't want to give her parents, then have her be a divine virgin birth like Anakin where somehow the Force reached out to create a being to try bring balance to The Force.

Since when did the force have anything to do with genetics, or bloodlines involvimg midichlorian counts or being force sensitive? Did palpetine have an ancestor that was a Jedi or a with? What about dooku, Yoda, mace wendu etc? That is just more bullshit fan theory and you know damn well rey can't be any more than 25 years old. Tfa takes place about 40+ years after jedi. There's a canonized time line if you look it up wookiepedia. The event that connect Rotj to tfa are told in the new battle front 2 campaign and novel and comics like shattered empire , inferno squad , star wars:aftermath etc.

Nah she said she was just talking shit after a long day.
AKA "I said some shit and then I realise Disney are going to own 60% of the industry in Fall 2019, I didn't mean it lol... can I keep my job?"

I'm betting she's regretting putting Star Wars over Tomb Raider and slightly overestimated her likely demand after the franchise moves on to the next SW Saga. It's the same deal as Chris Hemsworth when he though Blackhat and Rush were going to make him a star when the truth is Thor is what people like to see him as the most. You can play yourself out of opportunity overestimating your worth too soon.

You know how a year is worked out, right? One full rotation around a sun. It's why years even on galaxies in our planets differ. Tattoine had two fucking suns. We don't know if the planet was doing a figure eight or slowing down due to a hyper gravitational wave when it had to make a close proximity orbit around both suns based on an eliptical cycle caused by such a wave. You know why? Because it's sci fi and a year is whatever they say it is, it may or not be relevant to our own time scale because this is happening a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away so who even knows what their time scale is, how many days is in whatever they can a month or a year, and what is a year on Alderaan compared to a year on Tattooine given they orbited different stars at different distances?

This is a muddy ass stream you seem to want to plumb, but if you're game, we can keep going.

We'll see when JJ is done righting the ship what she actually is. They didn't dig in the crates for a vocal sample they tweaked to say "Rey" just for the sake of it, you don't drop a smoking gun like that in to a story if you're not going to deliver a denouement related to it. That's called storytelling 101. If it didn't matter, it wouldn't have made the cut but it did and there has to be a reason for it, even if Rian Johnson was left to his own devices and fucked the Snoke reveal and mishandled Luke in the eyes of Hammill before Kathleen Kennedy called him up and told him to tweet otherwise despite nearly 10 months of expressing his upset with the direction of Luke in TLJ.
