It’s a shame they’re so whored out. Star Wars is about to start getting filled w celebs.
 
I dont think that would make a compelling movie, Vader isnt a good stand alone character. He didnt have much duality at that time, doesnt talk that much, doesnt have much dept as a character.
Vader is good for action and intimidation scenes for the most part.
 
If they were to make it, it would have to be like an old Samurai movie where there isnt much talking. Just Vader hunting and doing his thing.
 
If you ever read those star wars purge comics then you would know that it would make a good movie its Vader versus remaining Jedi. Lots of action, light saber battles, Jedi fighting imperial toppers Vader even tortures captured Jedi. That movie would he dope.

Those sound like dope scenes, but how does that drive a 1.5+ hr movie. It cant all be just that.
 
theres more to the story than hunting jedi. the books show the relation ship between vader and the emperor. vader is gung ho about hunting remaining jedi and the emeperor sees the remaining jedi as something trivial or non urgent and tells him not to bother with it and continue running the empire as his enforcer. he senses why vader has a hard on for the hunt because deep down he is searching for Kenobi so he can settle the score with his former master. vader is sent to a planet with an imperial armory and the base has been plagued with renegade natives of the planet that has been raiding the site and the emperor instructed vader to remain at the site and oversee it no matter what. vader discovers that thesessse
 
Vader right after ep3 also has to go on a mission to get a lightsaber from a surviving jedi and turn it from green to sith red
 
this story shows how cunning and ruthless vader is. theres also vaders relation ship with the emperor and it shows that they don't always agree. vader was kind of new and he messes up . in one scene he disobeys the emperors order to guard a ship yard that was being raided by a band of renegades that were native to the planet. vader learns that they are being led by a jedi. instead of staying at the site vader goes off to hunt the jedi. the jedi lures him into the clutches of a swamp monster but vader later uses a mind trick to calm the creature down then procedes to kill the jedi. the emperor scolds vader for disobeying because the base got bombed while he was fighting the jedi so the emperor punishes him by making him stay on the planet for another month alone.
also the emperor advises him not to bother with the remaining jedi and continue with the business of enforcing the empires rule across the galaxy and he later senses that vader has a vendetta not with the jedi but he is searching for Kenobi so he can settle the score. he is only hunting the remaining jedi just to get to him. purge isn't the only series that features the hunt for the jedi there is a marvel series were the old librarian jedi lady is waiting to confront vader but she is protecting an important jedi holocron and building a new library for future jedi etc. theres so much source material alien worlds and set pieces supporting cast and alien species and creatures they could build this movie on
