You know how a year is worked out, right? One full rotation around a sun. It's why years even on galaxies in our planets differ. Tattoine had two fucking suns. We don't know if the planet was doing a figure eight or slowing down due to a hyper gravitational wave when it had to make a close proximity orbit around both suns based on an eliptical cycle caused by such a wave. You know why? Because it's sci fi and a year is whatever they say it is, it may or not be relevant to our own time scale because this is happening a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away so who even knows what their time scale is, how many days is in whatever they can a month or a year, and what is a year on Alderaan compared to a year on Tattooine given they orbited different stars at different distances?
This is a muddy ass stream you seem to want to plumb, but if you're game, we can keep going.
