You must love me........ is right there with dream momma. But still the bulk of pac shit wasn't dear momma like it was more thug life etc, that Conscious pac was disappearing or should i say getting buried by his alter ego. I wish dude would've lived so we can see how his pen would've aged big too

All GOOD songs and I love them all. But IMO, they not in the same class as "Keep ypur head up, dear mama and Brenda gotta a baby". Pac music just hit different. I grew up w a single mom and watched my sister be a single mom. Watching that shit up close and hearing songs like Dear Mama and keep your head up" hit different. I'm not gonna shit on jay, to boost up Pac. I love jay music, top 5. Jay not seeing Pac on the storytelling, introspective shit

I know he’s not everybody’s favorite...I understand that...nor am I sayin’ he has to be an MC you fuck wit’ personally...but as far as music/industry/culture/impact/relevance he’s tha EPITOME of EVERY RAPPER...dead or alive....whoever has ever spit a bar...and kick rocks wit’ that “Nah...some MC’s just really love tha craft...they’d do it for free!!” Bullshit...every muthafucka to ever say a rhyme had at 1 point wanted to make money doin’ what you love...and hate it or not Jay makin’ tha most outta relevant MC’s...every rapper had at 1 point dreamed of being relevant for over 25 years...not known but relevant...big difference...every rapper unless they were gay or “happily married” (lol) wanted to have their dream girl on their arm while at tha same time that woman bein’ universally considered 1 of tha baddest in tha game (and I personally don’t even rock wit’ B like that but I understand her place in tha “game”)...every rapper has at 1 point wanted to be more powerful than “just a rapper”...have more of a “voice”, regardless of w/e message/theme/content you wanted to get out there, you still wanted to be as powerful as he is to get that message out....Annnd THEN there’s tha music...hate him or love him niggaz are BUGGIN’ if they act like Jay can’t/don’t/didn’t/does/has etc spit some of tha hardest/best lyrics/bars/songs/albums for 25+ years and counting...cuz if he decided to drop a solo album on Friday out tha blue you know damn well he locking everything down...even if you don’t like him you KNOW he can rap...at a very high level...and has for longer than ANYBODY else...not even close

Now wit’ ALL that said there were no biased bs east coast words said...just straight facts...I’m no Pac fan at all...but I understand where some people have him...and I can respect that opinion...but how do you compare basically a 7 year span with only really 3-4 (and that’s being generous if you ask me) STRONG years at “premier artist” status....he can definitely be anybody’s personal favorite rapper...no doubt...but greatest EVER...nah...same wit’ Biggie who I am a big fan of...can’t compare 2 albums and a 4 year run wit what Hov has/is doin’...personal favorite of somebody...sure...no problem...but GOAT?! That’s not how that works...

Annnd he not even my favorite MC cuz I got Red and Pun over him personally...wit’ artist like Styles, Black Thought, old Nas , Big and even K Dot close to him on my personal top 10 favorite list...but if he not 1 on everybody unbiased Top rappers ever list...I honestly don’t see how you justify it unless you just flat out admit you don’t like him personally which would nullify your “unbiased” opinion lol

I'll give you that. Pac was not the most technical, but in my opinion made BETTER music that fit my style and preference. At the end of the day, that's what alot of these lists are, a matter if preference. I had emotional problems as a kid. So I always preferred dark, emo rap. Which was Pac's bag and to an extent DMX, which explains why I was a huuuuge fan of his too.
