so when you look at this post and scroll down about backlash and see nino and ghost....it takes a different meaning.
man....you been at my neck for years.Yeah. If I were to call you a fuck nigga midway through trying to make a point im certain you probably wouldn't hear anything past being called a fuck nigga
i said are you apart of any organizations...because if you are this angry with the man, what are you doing to help other Black ppl? what are you doing to help dismantle whiteness overall? are you out here doing anything besides grumbling on abw?
i truly believe that once you start doing activist work you’ll begin to shift your focus onto the ppl and your concern will not be solely aimed at white man but about how to uplift and support Black ppl on a daily basis.
we cant just blame the white man for our hoods being in shambles. we have to take accountability at some point.
No need for personal insults...Did you or did you not type those words though?elzo i wrap circles around you mentally every day of the week, please stop playing with me.
i expanded on my point several times in this thread. either read it or get the fuck out my face.
you are right, nah my way of debating holds ground because of the ppl im communicating with. this entire thread is filled with men calling women bitches, nappy headed hoes and other slanderous names. calling the victim a slut etc etc. i truly believe you cant have meaningful conversations with the majority ppl up here so i speak in a way that reads the room.
you may not like how i come at you but the message is the same and im not going to play nice with niggas that jump out the bando saying some real harmful shit, including yourself.
the anger, aggression is warranted and i also am prepared for the blowblack as well...like being called a bitch etc
but dont act like the way i speak is an issue on this forum when the entire first page is grown men referring to oprah as a cunt and a bitch. foh
I didn't say YOU did.I didnt...
No disrespect because I do honor your work in the community but you come off as a female who has never left the hood. Like have ever you been on a plane? Have you ever traveled? Traveled abroad?
Why can't you separate the average dusty pookie and ray ray from Kobe Bean Bryant?
Here they come.....
ummmmits clear to me that im probably one of the only ppl up here that 1. live in a predominately Black area that is experiencing severe governmental neglect and high concentrations of poverty
2. doing community activist/work
because we arent looking at this from
a communal standpoint. the comments in this thread are very individualistic and ppl are failing to tie a lot of this shit back to the community. (do yall niggas even live around Black ppl? lol)
its bigger than kobe and its deeper than rap.
we really have the potential to make great changes in our hoods if we cut the dramatics and start looking at this objectively.
No need for personal insults...Did you or did you not type those words though?
Why niggas always wanna personally get at you when they are losing an argument....the internet
damn....dude musta laid some serious pipe.i said are you apart of any organizations...because if you are this angry with the man, what are you doing to help other Black ppl? what are you doing to help dismantle whiteness overall? are you out here doing anything besides grumbling on abw?

ummmm
yea no.
while i dont live back in my old hood...i always come thru when back home. i dont do what i used to and thats why i need someone like you and @Duwop .
something i been saying for a while.
when im in charlotte im always at a couple schools volunteering so that they see a black man present. trying to do shit in the DR with dark skinned and haitian people. built a water tower in nigeria..helped with elbow grease to build schools and homes in jamaica.
im about to hit london with a few things as well.
i do tons of shit.
so i know why you are how you are...im the same way.
shit is frustrating.
He's a righteous Black man who spits in the face of the white supremacy on a daily basis. Something you wouldn't have the balls to do that because you're calling your own brother a rapist
I asked because you keep deflecting from white supremacy. As if that's not 99% of the reason why we're having this debate.hold up hold up hold up so you really out here on abw bemoaning about the white man and aint doing jack shit for Black ppl is that what im understanding? and then you got the nerve to spin my very valid questions into “you seem like a chick that never left the hood” and asking me if i ever been on a plane or not???????????? LMAOOOOOOO ay yo,
first off, I moved from virginia to philly because I got into temple university. I was going for my degree to be a school teacher but after working in the philly school system and seeing how oppressive and academically staunched it was, i decided to change my course of study to non profit based work.
i decided to stay in philly because its one the last majority cities that is still predomintely Black and has a large cultural footprint. i begin working at an insurance company, which i was really good at, but left there because I have a gift when it comes to working with children and those stuck in the margins. I am currently taking a huge paycut because Im passionate about Black ppl and see a slew of needs in this city that arent being met.
ive been on planes, ive been on trains, ive been on buses and ive been on boats.
the framing of these questions are very telling and labeling a certain demographic of Black ppl as “pookie” is just weird and it makes me question if you even live around the ppl you claim to go so hard for.
either way, i made a conscious decision to stay in the hood because 1. its where i feel the most comfortable at 2. the place we start at and build at when it comes to liberation and freedom - everything ties back to the hood and 3. the only place that gives me a real sense of community and togetherness. you’ll never find any community on this planet quite like the hood.
so yea,
you are right,
i apologize.
you have a point.
you gonna catch this fade still but you have a point.
i respect and understand your opinions and point even when i dont agree i will never call you out your name.
but at some point.....we need to have a sit down.
im tired of your shit but i need your expertise.
we need to find a common ground.
truce?
Here they come.....
