the men and males standing around recording and watching a woman....try to stop him.
a woman...regardless of if his mother.....a woman trying to stop a man.
and males standing around watching.

Cops know how to deescalate a situation when they want to. They didn’t want to deescalate this situation, they wanted a reason to kill.
I feel you but it’s definitely not about being sweet or soft or any of that. People are brought to mind your business even to the detriment of the community. People don’t feel responsible for anybody outside their house. I think it’s an American thing a certain selfishness. Still wrong tho
And what a regular civilian does when somebody has a knife vs a trained law enforcement officer does not mean anything.
Bruh, I'm not blaming anyone for calling the cops in this situation. Have you ever dealt with a mentally ill person when they are bugging out? My brother in law is a pretty big dude and he has schizophrenia. Asking any normal person to just deal with a potentially violent episode without any professional help is a little silly. I get why you propose that, but that's just another example of black people putting the burden on other black people. We live in this country. We pay taxes. We shouldn't have to avoid the people that serve us. I'm all for policing ourselves to reduce our interaction with cops, but at the end of the day, there are times where our people need help and the people getting paid to offer that help should be expected to do their jobs without killing everybody.
I think emergency services definitely need a number for people with mental issues. To avoid somebody getting killed because they didn’t have the meds.
