Lawler explained.

“That is probably the reason I’m not on TV anymore and I mean that seriously because they [WWE] went so politically correct. It’s not necessarily PG because they’re not PG. They’re further south than PG. They’re PC,” he said. “They’re so politically correct to a fault and especially like they got so right now into – starting with the Revolution – now it’s all about empowering women and that’s a big political correct thing these days and everything, so WWE jumped right on that, so it’s about empowering women.”

Lawler revealed that WWE producers actually instructed the commentators to never call the women wrestlers beautiful, good looking or sexy.

“You must treat them exactly like you would a male athlete,” Lawler recalled being instructed. “You could say that they are powerful, they’re strong, they’re athletic,’ all this stuff; but, nothing that would be considered sexist at all.”

Lol he's really actin like it's a bad thing

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following about the status of WWE Crown Jewel:

"There have been backup plans that are being talked about internally if the show doesn't take place."

WWE is reportedly considering either moving the Crown Jewel event to another location or postponing the event and having the key Crown Jewel matches (Universal Title match, DX vs. the Brothers of Destruction) take place at Survivor Seriesinstead. The belief is that regardless of when and where the matches take place, Shawn Michaels and Brock Lesnar will still be paid the same amount of money

With all the focus on WWE Crown Jewel in light of the current situation in Saudi Arabia, we have received a lot of feedback regarding whether the show should go on or not. WWE has publicly stated they are "monitoring" the situation.

As of today, the show is still moving forward with the company working on different logistics and production aspects of the event. The company was working on talent itineraries and other logistical aspects of the show yesterday, PWInsider.com has been told.

So, internally, all signs are it is full steam ahead with the 11/2 event, which will air on the WWE Network.

This is the same company that didn't stop a ppv after a wrestler fell to his death so I don't see them stopping this.
