AEW Dynamite wins week one of Wednesday night ratings war

AEW averaged 1.409 million viewers and finished second on cable in the 18-49 demo.

NXT, despite limited commercial interruption and a loaded lineup featuring three title matches, averaged only 891,000 viewers, an 11 percent drop from the previous week, although the rating in the demo was the exact same as last week.

this is what i've been saying all day

its a lot of people on twitter and the dirtsheets thats tickled to death that they beat NXT but w/ as much as they advertised the debut and put into it theres no reason why it shouldn't of out drawn them.

Whats gonna be interesting is the numbers for both brands a couple months out from now when the buzz has died.

I honestly see NXT ratings reaching a issues down the line, they need to get out of Full Sail asap and add another big name to the brand from the main to get increased ticket sales. I heard they barely get by with crowds for their house shows
