Deadline.com reported today that top tier talent agency Paradigm has pulled the trigger on launching The Sports Group, an official Sports division, which will include projects for WWE talents they represent.

Deadline's reporting specifically mentions projects for Montez Ford, Natalya and Tiffany Stratton as well as previously announced film projects for CM Punk and Drew McIntyre.

The article also notes the heavy involvement Paradigm had in the deal for Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul this weekend on Netflix and notes a Tyson documentary project that is compared to Michael Jordan's Last Dance docuseries by Deadline.

Live Morgan, Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest, Tiffany Stratton and CM Punk were all announced as signing with Paradigm in recent months. Deadline's article notes Paradigm are now representing ten WWE talents, so there are announcements forthcoming.

I'm sure this is just about them acting, but I have always thought that wrestlers were missing out on money by not using their gimmicks in other mediums. There are so many gimmicks that could work in film and TV projects; They sort of explored this on the Network with some shows like the camp Cena one.

Friday 12/13: Friday Night Smackdown in Hartford, CT at the XL Center - taping the 12/13 and 12/20 episodes.

Monday 12/16: Monday Night Raw in Boston MA at the TDBank Garden - taping the 12/16 and 12/23 episodes.
