Didn't watch secret invasions but I agree about the villain and Carol's timeline being messy. I was expecting Carol to be the one to sacrifice herself and not Monica but wasn't bothered by it. The young avengers story did come out of nowhere but it was fine for me as an mid credit scene. The rest didn't bother me

The young avengers storyline didn’t really come out of nowhere though. Scott Lang’s daughter being a big part of the last Antman, Kate Bishop in the Hawkeye series, and Kamala Khan in Ms. Marvel were big plot points hinting at the team up

If they decide to add Scarlet Witches kids, who was a big plot point in Wandavision and one of the main reasons for Multiverse of Madness that’s another tie in.


I understand folks who didn’t watch the television shows not knowing this though.
