And you are speaking in hyperbole because I've seen most of the projects opening weekend or within the first couple of weeks. I haven't seen this one yet cause I was going to take my princess with me like I said months ago but she was with her mother. We will be going this Friday when my custodial period begins.

Just speaking personally, im kind of Marvelled out.

Watched everything Marvel for like 10 years. Need a break.

Idk if its me being tired of it or if the value took a hit. But I didnt enjoy shit other than spiderman in phase 4. BP 2 wasnt bad. Thor was horrible. Steven Strange was ok at best. GOTG 3 was ok at best.

I skipped the TV shows after She Hulk, havent watched Ant Man, and have no intrest in watching this.

Maybe after a break ill be back to watching all these.

Im guessing not all but some folks skipped it for this reason

I get that. There are some of the tv shows I don't care about. Never saw Ms Marvel. Disney plus isn't worth the price IMO

She explained it in the movie. Honestly don't remember the specifics though. It was included in why she hadn't spoken with Monica in decades

Well actually, let me not go that far. It wasn't bad, it was decent/meh. The pacing was weird. It felt like they rushed through everything and dispatched the villain pretty quickly. Also, Marvel has been having this problem for a little while now, but I gotta say... I did not feel the stakes in this movie at all. Like, I was not scared that ol' girl had even an INCH of a chance of winning in the end. Oh, and I'll say this for the people in the back MARVEL HUMOR IS TRASH!!!

I think this is pretty much the consensus
 
I enjoyed it for what it was. Kamala and Monica shined. Brie was serviceable. But yeah the pacing was mad off and the villain was trash. And the singing language people was corny but kinda funny. Too short though. They might as well made this a Disney+ exclusive.
 
So Fury told Kamala how he approached Tony Stark? I thought it was weird that the film ended with basically a mid-credit scene lol

Should’ve been Ms Marvel season 2. Fleshed out the story. Filled in more of the relationship between Carol and Monica, showed more of the girls being bros or whatever the female equivalent is and getting into more power switching shenanigans.
