ok, one of my biggest issues was that anytime these movies get made and a reference to louisiana gets made, they gotta stop showing these fucking swamp houses and shit lol

if this movie, while everyone can agree was somewhat lackluster, if this gives them a bigger budget for the sequel, then thats a win

its been said multiple times this movie felt safe af. They checked off all the boxes to make sure it didnt take any chances. I just hope they pull out all the stops on the next one
 
Oh they will definitely step it up in the sequel. They always do.

The only film that I think will have a difficult time topping the first entry is Doctor Strange, but if the director pulls it off then good for him. Visually the first Doctor strange was fucking amazing. Great Humor and dope story. Like many marvel films i felt the "fight" with dormammu was lack luster, but it made sense. Cant see Strange going toe to toe with a cosmic entity all by himself like that although I'm sure he has in the comics. Pulling that off on screen would have been insane though and cost so fucking much lmao.

Lake Charles is probably considered a bit more rural compared to the other 3 but still, they got some bad ass women out there

In my opinion, if any movie is not atleast a 6 1/2 -7 out of 10 to me its trash. Maybe I had this movie too high on the pedestal. Maybe if I didnt hype myself up then I wouldnt be so bummed. But compared to the rest of the movies, to me, yes its trash. I left the movie theatre rolling my eyes and I'm mad because I watched it 3D. The girl cant act, and Samuel carried the whole movie.
