1) Don't drink while you're around him. Obviously, you have an real issue with alcohol, so it's best to avoid this.
2) Convince him that drunk you isn't the real you. Not sure how you're going to do that, being as tho you insulted his mama and you threatened him. Maybe you might need to go to an AA meeting or two. If you're truly sincere, ask him to go with you for not only support, but to show him that you're truly sorry and working on improving this part of yourself. A top-off MIGHT work....or he might just skeet and tell you "fuck you."
3) Leave the gas $$$ shit where it is. if you're really trying to wipe the slate clean, then let that go. Call it an 'Asshole Tax' that you owe him.
