Lol...wait, yo, you didnt hear him talking his shit and ad-libbing in that funny voice in the first track? Iight, you got it dude....

Talent wise, JD is lightyears ahead of Piddy

But Piddy is far more skilled as a entertainer and his showmanship is 2nd to none. And not to mention is "charisma" and gift of gab....he's nature born shit talker. And this garners him a lot of supporters who feel it outweighs JD's talent as writer & producer
This thing never been about 'talent'.

It only became about 'talent' when folks started talking about Diddy catalog is more superior to JD catalog. Now it's Diddy ain't do anything but sign off on the final release of them 30yrs of HITS

It's always been about talent.

Folks just know Diddy ain't nothing but the producer version of Milli Vanilli

Frontman for the actual talent.

Now!!!

That's exactly what he did. Folks been claiming that for years and Diddy ain't defend himself once.

Who are the Hit Men?

A collective correct? And Puff apart of that collective, correct? And just about every member, past and present, have collaborated to some degree of Puff involvement correct? From sample choice, to sonic arrangement, to lyric advisement.

So what you really saying here outside of you don't like how Puff do business

No.

He's the boss of that collective and somehow thinks he deservers a producer credit because of it.

Should Birdman get a producer credit for Back Dat Azz Up cause he was the boss of Cash Money?.................. :foh5:

If it was about 'talent', Verzuz would have never existed. It's about end product, period. Record vs record. Dassit.

You gotta gripe with Diddy cool.

You think So So Def record label has a better catalog then Bad Boy record label?

No.

You know all Diddy did was walk in the studio and was like,

"That's a hit right there."

And dance a little bit and walk out.

When Quincy Jones shit on your ability to actually produce music, you know it's bad.

Jones, the man behind Michael Jackson's classic Thriller album, was appearing at a launch event for online music streaming service Spotify in New York on Tuesday when he singled out Combs for criticism.

The music veteran told the crowd Combs "couldn't recognise a B flat if it hit him", adding, "P. Diddy has a doctorate in marketing."

Even DJ Khalid can at least DJ and make a sound come out of the MPC

You leave Diddy alone in a room with some turntables, a drum machine, a keyboard and a laptop, ain't no music being made.

Bruh probably cry.

That's what you gotta respect about Birdman and Master P.

They weren't out there stealing their producers publishing by tacking their name on to song credits as writers and shit.

Diddy and Khaled be getting credit just by being in the studio when the track was being made lol.

What are we doing here people?

Niggas really trying to downplay JD like he didn't shape the sound of r&b for a long ass time. He may be an annoying little shit but his talent and impact can't be denied

At the same time make excuses for Diddy being the modern day version of them old 40's/50's/60's cacs that would throw their name on a record and take credit AND money away from black artist.

Really!?!?...................

Say what now?

Which song was niggas like "Puff killed that shit" or "Damn, that Puff beat was fiyah."

Victory was my favorite song off No Way Out, and Puff could have been left off as far as I'm concerned.

Are people really on here acting like Puff was something more than the business guy moonlighting as an artist? What kinda revisionist history is this? Nobody was acting like Puff was some great artist back in the day. He was just a successful figurehead like Master P.

Lol, so basically this won't be hit for hit

It'll be how people FEEL about Diddy's involvement towards a hit vs how they FEEL about JD's involvement in a hit...

This shit is all about feelings
