As a mod, one of the main rules is posting pictures of people without their permission, sans celebrities, is frowned upon. This is the scenario, "A regular, well liked poster makes a thread about a woman he's pursuing. The participants flood him with questions like "DSGDA?", jokingly asking for pics to see if it's worth the hassle. He drops a face picture, saying "I can trust y'all not to act a fool and track her down."

How do you respond to the situation?

If Chi-town is right (which isn't fair fetched from the 'popular' opinion) than so be it. My stance remains the same however. My answers to the questions remain the same. My dutifulness to consistency and fair treatment off all posters will remain the same.

I rather be a hated painting than a beloved poster. Again buddy, y'all are not more qualified than I. At all

Given the history of the board, I'd said poster A is fool for creating the thread in the first place thus he will be banned. Whether I agree with such said rule is irrelevant because it comes from someone with more authority than I.

There is nothing up for discussion, debate, or fighting. No pics means no pics. If the creator of such said rule unbans him than so be it. Either way, I'm a keep it moving

A rule is a rule no matter how dumb it is but who am I to say if that person got permission or not and if they didn't how would I find out. If they want to post a chick so be it but another mod might have a problem with it and do something about it.

How is permission supposed to be given btw? Do they have to sign something. Like for instance if I post a pic of my sis and she cool with it but think it's dumb to write a note. Is that ban worthy? I mean she told me it's cool.

I'd ask the poster to delete it, they'd be naive to think people won't reverse search that pic, if it's been posted elsewhere it'll lead them right to the woman in the pic. This forum doesn't need that kind of negativity. It's already in the rules to not post pics of other people without their consent, and I'd be surprised if the poster actually even got those responses in the first place. Most here are cool people, so I doubt the situation would even arise but if it did, I'd delete the pic and have a conversation with the posters being thirsty for pics. Now, if he got her to sign up and she's willing to post pics of herself then that's a different story.

No matter how well we know and trust each other, the rules are the rules for a reason.

I'd direct them to the creator of the rule and let them plead they case to her. In the meantime.......

Conflicts are going to happen. You are in an environment where personalities will clash from time to time. First part, as a mod, how would you respond to being relentlessly attacked by a member?

Second part, how would you respond to two members who are at odds to the point where its becoming a distraction to the board?​
