This. I read the question and imagined an economically struggling dude. Not necessarily a deadbeat or delinquent. That could be a grad student who, unlike his white classmates, doesn't have his parents bank rolling him or a guaranteed cushy job after and knows potentially irredeemable debt awaits him. Could also be a guy who worked manual labour for 10 yrs then had an injury that wasn't covered by insurance and lost his livelihood.
I think people are having different reactions to the word struggle.

I promise I took struggling as someone who doesn't have the best paying job, living paycheck to paycheck, never having money to do a little extra after bills are paid. Probably could list a few other things but yeah.
