Based off this trailer, I remember this movie! It was dope! She did good in this movie, that's what I'm saying she might need to stick with dramas. But seriously I'm hoping next movie be better, maybe this movie was just rushed, I can't take it being a back story as an excuse, because there were other backstories that were pretty good. I'm looking forward to the next Avengers

I havent seen the first Captain America in a long time, but I was just talking about this the other day; from what I remember, the story was pretty dope. Why don't anyone like it? I might have to go watch it again

I believed the Hulk was the Hulk and the same for the others. I just didn't feel Brie's performance. It seemed as though she was acting and not actually Captain Marvel. It did get better though towards the end

She can act, I seen this movie before, I think she probably does better with dramas.

When they gave her those little jokes,her personality did shine,but those times were few.

Even after I explained what I was asking.....
 
I think of an origin story as the story of how the hero became the hero

so because BP was already BP for years his movie isn't an origin story.Killmonger wasn't even his 1st antagonist.

If anything the first cartoon scene of BP is his origin story then the rest is an early adventure,but far from his first.

Ironman is by far the best origin movie

I think CM is better than Thor and Cap's origin movies.

Watched a second time with nephews, still had fun time. I agree with buddy who said first hour and half is not slow there is literally shit going down majority of that time, if you want slow watch Cap 1 first hour and a half.

I feel majority of the film was Bri being a brain washed military girl and towards the end her human nature was starting to pour out more so that might just be another reason why her acting is being questioned so much here idk but off that I expect her to be alot better in sequels.

I figured people didn't get this aspect or overlooked it in their critiques. This movie starts with her only having 6 years of memory. And those six years have been spent being trained to be Kree special forces. Like you said, as she remembers who she truly is her personality starts to show.

I've also seen it twice and enjoyed it more the second time.
