Smh. The only thing that made this movie good, was Samuel L. Jackson. And the alien dude. Mostly Samuel, he basically carried the movie. The black girl with the cute hairdo can act WAY better than captain marvel. She cant act, who casted this movie? What she had to do to get this role. This marvel superhero movie was the worst out of the lot. I almost fell asleep and I grew tired. I'd give it a 5 1/2 out of 10 :sayword:
We went at a 1 30 pm showing and it was packed. That first hour was pretty slow in the movie. I dug the humor, and the climax of the scene delivered for the most part. Looking forward to a sequel. It kinda has the errors that Phase 1 movies had

I saw this today. It was a solid movie wasn't groundbreaking we already knew going in that Captain Marvel was going to be the vehicle to introduce her to Avengers 4. The same way Marvel used The First Avenger to set up The Avengers.
This movie is on the same level as Dr. Strange & both Ant-Man movies. Good but not masterpieces. I liked the throwback of setting the movie in the mid 90's.
