WWE WrestleMania (4/2/22 - 4/3/22)

Watching a Hangman Adam Page vs whomever is more entertaining than watching a WWE style match with Roman vs whomever (unless it's DB or Cena)
Lol facts. Its not even close.

I wouldnt even compare the two, its just the fact Roman matches have hit a wall of dull. WWE style aint an excuse because there have been plenty of great main event matches using WWE style ME matches.

I mean Edge vs AJ sucked last night too, it would of been nice if we atleast got something decent from it but it was a free tv.

Would love to see AJ Style vs Austin Theory program down the line this year.

I can say Roman is more on the line of Hogans 97 and 98 run. All big builds, bs or low mediocre matches with limited drawn out spots that fans say is the ME style, and flat wins to carry over to the next build. Only problem is there is no Sting for Romans character built up.

They could've gotten more traction out of the match if Roman would've used the guillotine to put Brock to sleep, but I guess they didn't go that route

It is a great storyline send-off. TBH it is a story that doesn't have to be an in-ring classic. The mic work and actual storyline with Rock being the real life tribal chief of their family vs Roman betting the WWE tribal chief is woll be intriguing AF if they do it correctly

As long as the title isn't on the line...cool. A one off match...cool.

But niggas was in here wanting Rock to return to face Roman for the title. For what? So the Rock can be the same thing Brock was 2-3yrs ago...a part time champion?? Naw.

Like I said, WWE not doing a year long build. So yall minus well fall back from that.

I could of seen that, kind of like Austin and Bret. Have Roman just pass out in the guillotine.

He needs someone as big as him to come in to make it believable. If Brock was full time it could be him BUT in true WWE fashion they haven't built anyone up to be that person.

If they would've kept Finn as the bad ass that he was in NXT he could've been a solution, hell Matt Riddle could be it if they break him from RKO and those belts. Not sure who else is ready at this moment. AJ isn't a solution.

Roman really has no opponents right now

You missing the point. Its just to give that special wrestling moment we live for in wrestling. Rock aint winning, its about Roman beating the old Chief and biggest star in the world who happens to be his family. Its just a moment not a reign. The title should be off of Reigns by then and will get him back in the title picture after that Mania.

Yeah no need for a title to be in the picture, unless Roman still has the belt and still goes over Rock at Mania

The Brock / Roman match coulda been better but what else can they do? Idk if anyone was expecting a wrestling clinic.

but they definitely could have benefitted from having A No Holds Barred type of match. Maybe spill into the crowd, an announce table getting smashed….but that’s really bout it

Nobody is expecting a clinic in a Brock vs Roman match. But there was zero story in it which most big matches with limited competitors usually rely on the match storytelling, nothing to give it a special feel, it was just a flat match. Nothing more or less. But Roman has a history of having those now. Probabaly could of put it on 2nd to last to Bianca and Becky.

I get that. Never had an issue wit THAT particular scenario. That can potentially be compared to that Rock/Hogan moment.

What I'm saying...niggas legit wanted Rock to come win the title from Roman. Not the moment. I'm saying that's not gonna work.

Switching subjects: Who's next for Charlotte? She done ran through everyone just like Roman. I'm guessing somebody has to return from injury soon, I'm thinking Asuka. But she'll get fed to Charlotte as well...

I think Bayley will probably come back to face Bianca for the Raw brand within the next month or so...

I could be wrong but i dont recall folks om here saying they want Rock to win the title? And if they did thats stupid as fuck. Hogan vs Rock moment is the go to.

This is why I mentioned having it be a No Holds Barred match kinda like Rock / Austin back at WM17 cause last nites match (minus the abrupt ending) was exactly what I expected

Their female roster is stale to me. They kept half the same girls from a decade ago and the ones they brought in have been all over the place. They need new women thru NXT to come up and get made.

Y'all notice barely anyone parlays a melee attack into a hold/slam? Remember when Triple H used to kick someone in the mid section to get them situated into a Pedigree, and it looked realistic?

Reigns sorta does the best he can with the new WWE style but ever since AEW popped up, they do even more spots than ever, everyone just still has their limited moveset. It's like passing the ball to Kwame Brown from the left side
