If I remember correctly this was near the last moments of the Copa Del Rey at 1:1.
I don't think footballers should be expected to chip in if their clubs can afford to pay their staff it's not footballers job to help government etc would be nice that's on them. If 12% is enough for their staff then perfect.

If he could've stayed healthy he wouldve absolutely been worth that price
I've been critical of Bale based on media stories. I retract all that as I've learnt a lot about the media since then. I actually think he has been worth the price tag and due to circumstance his stint at RM has been understated.
Regardless of the media stories it's not debatable that he's worth his price tag 2 champions League finals he was the best or second best player on the pitch
