Work Out, Get Fit Thread

So proud of myself, got back into working out this week. My goal is to lose 20 lbs and get toned, but not bulky

My workout routine so far

1. Stretch
2. Cardio-this week I did jump rope. usually do 700 which takes about 20 minutes
3. I have started using this youtuber chleo Ting work out videos. They are basicaly no equipment body weight type exercises. ( love her videos)
4. I did do two days of weight training , but I think I might stick with calisthenics for a couple of weeks. And just follow chleo ting videos. Just to get me started and back use to working out more consistently. Using your own body is underrated. Lunges, mountain climbers, and burbees they ain't no joke.

Went to the Secretary of State yesterday to renew my old MI license. Chick at the counter hit me with the "eye color, height, and weight?"

I mumbled "three hunnid pounds..."

Got up this morning and hit the treadmill. Doing it again before I go to bed.
 
Ayo have y’all ever did a class my gym got so high intensity cardio interval classes or some shit. Or is that some gimmick shit?

Naw those are good to start off with if u getting back into working out. Just stand in the back lol. I remember I went and was in the front...never again lol. Idk I was on some I wanna see the instructor....I was looking crazy

But u can find got HITT videos online and get just as a good a workout. But the going to the class may keep you accountable

Yea true I just saw this cycling class that was offered

Ok so went to the class it was cool for the first time felt good and all.
 
weight and full body exercises burn calories than cardio and spinning

Also, they are more fun to do and sustainable

you are ignoring the fact that he admits to being sedentary.

HIIT classes would do wonders for him in regards to reawakening his cardio and muscle memory, which will help him perform better in the gym.

I say go for it.

Doing a keto/intermittent fasting regimen for the next two weeks plus abstaining from alcohol to see if it has any effect.

I gotta say, this shit is gonna be awful 'cause potatoes are my kryptonite and I love my bourbons. But I gotta kickstart this shit in the right direction so it's become necessary.
