What Requirements Should People Need To Purchase A Gun?

I get it but this just spitting in the wind. U know how many guns out on the streets already. They never will but if let's say tomorrow they banned guns in the US. It would basically just set up a prohibition situation. The underground market would explode. And people are never gonna turn in their arms. I live down south it's rare to find anyone who doesn't have at least one gun. It's part of the culture and widely accepted by all races and cultures.

I know someone with the hecate 2 special and uses 416 rounds

Every time he fires a round

😂 yep those ammo prices are no joke for those bigger calipers but it wouldn’t be something I would shoot like that anyways. Kind of like my 6.5CM. I got a wishlist of a few builds Ill eventually do, 350 legend, 458 Socom, and .50 Beowulf is on it. I have spare lowers that need a home. 6.5G would probably be the next.. buddy has one that I shot… incredible besides the ammo cost. Buy ammo online when it doubt.

Just got back from Wallyworld, strolled by the sporting goods section. Didn't go to the one clser to the crib 'cause I was looking for one of those 4 cube organizers in a particular color for my living room. This one in particular sells rifles and they had a couple of 6.5CM's in stock plus plenty of ammo for it. They also had a grip of .350 Legend FMJ target ammo in the case for $15/20rds. Truthfully, they have a fuckton of rifle rounds EXCEPT .223/5.56 and 7.62x39 AK ammo.

7.62x39 rounds use to be stupid cheap but once Russia started their shit there goes cheap Russian steel ammo. I still have a bit tucked away for when I eventually caliper one of my empty uppers into one. I gotta get a wishlist together one day when time allows.

It would basically turn in to Canada. Pretty sure @Freeman can vouch for this, but up there in Canada a pistol smuggled across the border would set you back thousands of dollars, an AR15 even more. That's what would happen if a total ban on firearms were put in place here.

I used to keep cheap Russian Wolf and TulAmmo 5.56 in my stockpile. Shot a fuckton of it and ran it all out except for 10 rds of Wolf that I rediscovered last night and my "magazine of last resort" full of 30 rds of TulAmmo steelcase.

I just looked and Wolf 5.56 is back down to $10 a box. Might put an order in for a couple hundred rounds.

Had a bunch stored in my storage unit I had at one point in time along with some steel 223/5.56. Idk what leaked but something did and bam there goes all that steel cased ammo. Hurt my soul to have to toss all that and that was shortly before the ammo/covid price hike.

Man. This ain't nothing like canada. People in the US are never parting with their guns. Where I'm from we have more gun ranges than libraries. Sometimes you can't put the genie back in the bottle.

I said that in the church shooting thread.

What I was getting at is that a total ban on guns in the US would result in prices of black market guns skyrocketing like they did in Canada.

Yes in cheaper guns, more expensive builds get brass only

This! Use to be so much cheaper so Range day happened more often and didn’t break the bank.

I still pick up both when the price is right
I can understand the price difference, but I’m good on that. 😂

Plus a lot of the indoor ranges I’ve been to in San Antonio and Austin stated brass only. Maybe the outdoor ones out here are different though. Maybe I could find a few if I looked more that wouldn’t mind.
