Man... I finally finished The Last Kingdom (the finale movie was kinda mid) but I was still on that historical fiction tip so I decided to try out Barbarians. THIS SHIT IS ASS! I thought these barbarians were going to be badass or the history was going to include references to real events but I was sadly mistaken. The only think that was a little close was the roman standard being stolen. But they could have just done a story about Boudica and kept it real.
Good news is the writer of the last kingdom has another show in production about an alternate take on King Arthur in production which I'm looking forward to.
