Maybe it's because I been watching The Bear but I really wanted to do a feast of the 7 fishes this year but since it's usually just me and my mom on christmas that would be hard to pull off since we both lean toward seafood. I was gonna try to do an octopus dish as an appetizer at least but the grocery store I went to didn't have them so I gotta thaw out some shrimp.

I just found out my doctor retired without telling me. I'm eating everything on the menu until I'm told otherwise.

I begrudgingly cooked. I still havent had a chance to decompress from my vacation. Made Cajun turkey sausage pasta. No pics of the sauce but it is heavy cream and butter. Then season the sauce
So I think i want to take on the challenge of making Potato salad from scratch. If I can make it good, it is gonna put me on a whole different level at gatherings.
