Tory Lanez Sentenced to 10 Years for 2020 Shooting of Megan Thee Stallion

In all seriousness and no matter the fugazi moves she made and what happened prior

the young lady was still SHOT and seeing ppl especially grown man bully her online is nasty work

What if she decides all this is too much and ones herself

then it’s gonna be she was a great person it didn’t have to come to this

- did meg actually get shot or atleast shot at (she did - the surgeon confirmed they pulled bullet frags out her foot)
- details regarding the gun (gsr was found on kelsey and tory. also dna for 2 women and 2 men). if he was the flat out shooter it wouldnt be as inconclusive imo

we'll see how it officially play out but based on what was presented i'm not convinced the balding midget targeted her. the highest probable thing that happened was kelsey shot her in the scuffle they had or it went off when all 4 were going at it.

That theory don't make sense that Kelsey was solely trying shoot Meg. and all Tory did was try to help...bullshit

Someone can correct me on this but I believe the charges on Tory Lanez is as follows :

- assault with a semiautomatic firearm
- carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle
- personally inflicting great bodily injury on another person (ie Meg)
- discharging a firearm with gross negligence

The circumstances of Meg being shot would be relevant to the charges he's facing... I think.
For instance, her stating that Tory shot her and yelled "dance bitch" implies intent by Tory to cause bodily injury to her. I don't think that charge would stack up based on the evidence presented (the resident testified shots came from the girl to the other girl first), but that's up to the jurors to decide. The same goes with assault with a semiautomatic firearm.
Discharging a firearm with gross negligence would be contentious if the defense could present it as he didn't discharge any weapon but rather he was stopping kelsey from doing so and in the midst of the mêlée, the gun went off.

The carrying a loaded weapon that's unregistered should be conclusively bought against him because it was his car etc. But again the fact that they didn't find conclusive dna of his on the gun, may make an argument (albeit weak IMO) that it wasn't his gun or him carrying it. I dunno, I'm just speculating as a lot would come down how these charges are being "defined" from a legal standpoint.

You got to remember it's also what instructions the jurors have been given towards making their verdict that makes weight. Also the definition of reasonable doubt provided to them. 🤷‍♂️
 
The witness said Kelsey went back to the car and then came back and the gun shot happened so I believe that gun was in Kelsey's bag cause how would she know Tory had a gun

That is how I see it probably going down too except I missed the part where they identified the genders of the dna on the gun.
All I saw/read was that there were 4 profiles on the magazine (none matched tory) and 4 profiles on the actual gun (inconclusive match to tory).

I wonder whether it matters which bullets/shots actually did the injury to Meg ie if Kelsey shooting her were the actual bullets to cause injury to Meg's feet as opposed to any shots Tory may have let off.

I hope Meg gets some justice though even if its in civil court, as regardless of how she behaved that night or preceding, she didn't deserve for things to escalate towards being shot.

Very valid point on state laws. Its probably why the DA recently added the discharging a firearm with gross negligence charge, in hopes of at least pinning that on him

I also dont remember the resident saying Kelsey went to the car and came back bussing shots.

For me yes

Simply because they couldn't tie his DNA to the gun

I'm not willing to ignore that because it's the only piece of evidence that doesn't need to stick to a story

DNA doesn't have a motive

I think niggas leaning on the fact the the witness ain’t say directly Tory shot her. But it’s only two folks prints on the gun.
