Tom Cruise cursing out Mission Impossible 7 crew for breaking COVID-19 protocols

This.

And I wouldn't even put up a fight right then and there, because I'm the one in the wrong by violating the covid guidelines. But after we finish shooting for the day, I'm 100% going to Tom's trailer and letting him know, 'Yeah, you're right. We should be safe and make sure we follow the guidelines so we can keep this production on track. But watch your mouth when you're talking to me. I'm not a child and I'm not with it. Respect is a 2-way street. Now let's move on, and come in here Monday like this shit never happened.'
You not getting to his trailer and you fired

ya'll are equating two different situations so stop with all the goalpost moving

if you on your 9 to 5 and yo supervisor on some bullshit and just yelling for the sake of trying to look tough, thats foul af and no, no one should stand there and be berated

BUT

if YOU are out here WILLINGLY violating protocols in a pandemic...i just dont know how respectful you expect the supervisor to be

ya'll keep saying "he wouldnt talk to me like that"...well, yeah, if you not the offender, then no, he not talking to you

but how you gonna knowingly violate the protocol and expect him to pat you on the back and tell you "its ok...they might not even get sick" is lost on me.

Y’all really been in here all day comparing someone yelling about COVID protocols to one of your old bosses screaming on you for stocking the shelves incorrectly?

Read the room.

1.) It’s obvious from his rant that this isn’t the first time he’s spoken to these people about it.
2.) We aren’t talking about clerical errors. We’re talking about risking the lives of everyone on set. Tom is a producer with money invested. If anything goes seriously wrong he is one of the few people that will be held accountable.
3.) This production has already been shut down twice. Once during the first shutdown and again in October because multiple people on this very same set tested positive.

When it comes to this issue, “fuck your feelings and fragile ass masculinity,” is the only mantra I subscribe to. We’ve watched about 10 months worth of consequences and still have nerve to act as if any of this is up for debate.

This is 2020, mate. If you take the bait whenever a white boss is yelling at you, you're actually not helping any of our ancestors. Move forward, be the bigger man, take the L and get over it. Falling into the bait is the easiest way to get a racist set you up to fail.

Bruh you can bounce with the bs. This ain’t the jetsons or the 1950s where you boss can spazz on you freely it’s why employees have rights an shit. You think a boss won’t be right up in HR after spazzing out. Like damn

But again nobody is expecting a Pat on the back. You have a child to get your kid in line does yelling always work? You also ref and you know how people are. So yes some folks would take it and others would feel disrespected because a boss should know how to get a point across without yelling. And yelling because some dude at the job might get killed doing something vs yelling at somebody for not washing hands are also two separate situations.

And yes I know covid is fatal. All we saying is their are other ways to communicate effectively

He's not lying about a multi billion dollar movie industry hinging on this movie possibly saving the movies.

This would be the biggest block buster franchise .

This is his shit and if you don't like it kick rocks.

I would scream on them niggas too.

lol go ahead to HR complaining about getting yelled at for not following COVID protocols... which in many places comes with fines from the state. Thats like complaining that you got yelled at for stealing some shit off set lol.

I'm not with bosses yelling at employees at all but when you're putting other peoples health and livelihoods at stake with your ignorance... eh... tempers might flare and you might get yelled at lol. I'm not condoning it.... I understand it tho.

Dude coulda just had security escort them out and then gathered errbody else and calmly explain why they got let go/fired... but celebs are humans too.... emotions gon fly sometimes *shrugs*

its still apples and oranges b

as a ref, coaches are expected to behave with a certain level of decorum. Dont try to start all that yelling and shit at me b/c ya kid dribbled through a trap and lost the ball. Officials also have things to punish overzealous coaches as well.

as a father, there are going to be some instances where talking to my child calmly simply does not work. I dont make it a practice to yell at her, but when i do, she knows i mean business

neither one of these examples are applicable to a person signing on to work on a job, saying they are going to adhere to the measures put in place, and willingly violate them. whatever happens as a result of this is on them.

Is mission impossible that important to the whole movie industry? I didn’t even know they were making another until this happened
