Exactly......Clinton and other Democrats thought that a majority of suburban "soccer moms" were going to vote for her when the Trump "Grab'em By The Pussy" tape dropped.....I can see Trump getting reelected unless the Dems focus more on items that actually matter to middle class voters and not his character. "I know he said/did those horrible things, but......" is the typical response those white women that voted for Trump's reasoning

You saw and heard what you did. The same way people who didn't fuck with her saw and heard what they did. Hillary got 3mill more votes in the popular election so obviously people was paying attention.

What's wild to me is all the excuses folks keep trying to manufacture about her losing. The fact that folks thoughts so low her to elect Trump says a lot and people still not willing to face that fact.

Yall arguing schematics her high number of votes came in blue states with larger populations than red States, the only way shit was going to change is if red States and purple States went blue to change the electoral college, has nothing to do with not voting in already predominantly blue states

Fox News CEO Cracks Down On Offensive Comments: ‘Protect The Brand’

Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott rounded up her producers for a scolding last week, warning them to keep their hosts and panelists in line as the news shows shed advertisers due to controversial remarks said on air.

According to a Wednesday Politico report, Scott told them that they would be culpable for any damaging remark said by hosts or guests on the network’s shows: “You are responsible for protecting the talent, protecting the brand,” she said.

She reportedly particularly homed in on Fox News’ coverage of the immigration crisis at the border, going so far as to say that all material on immigrant children should be scripted and reviewed beforehand.

Scott tasked her producers with immediately calling out and reigning in hosts when an offensive comment is made on air, directing them to tell the host to walk back the statement via their earpiece.

Fox News has been targeted with advertiser boycotts of late, sparked by incidents like host Laura Ingraham comparing children’s immigrant detention facilities to “summer camps,” guest Ann Coulter calling the immigrant children “child actors,” and guest Corey Lewandowski saying “womp, womp” in response to the news that a young child with Down syndrome was wrested from her mother.

The hosts—Steve Hilton and Sandra Smith, respectively—let both Coulter and Lewandowski’s remarks go unchallenged on air.

But as one former producer pointed out to Politico, where does a news channel that thrives off of controversial and politically incorrect comments draw the line?

“The management hired these people knowing full well what they’re doing and then pretend after the fact,” the former producer said. “‘Why would they say these things? How could it possibly happen?’ What do you mean, how could it happen? You hired this person because they say crazy things.”

“What’s inappropriate?” the former producer added. “What’s not?

Former Aide To Roger Stone Subpoenaed By Mueller Team


A former aide who worked for Roger Stone during the 2016 campaign has been subpoenaed by special counsel Robert Mueller’s team of investigators, the New York Times reported Thursday.

The aide is Andrew Miller, a libertarian who helped arrange media interviews for Stone during the campaign, according to the Times and Stone press releases with Miller listed as the media contact.

A lawyer named Paul Kamenar filed a motion on Thursday on behalf of a client subpoenaed by Mueller arguing the special counsel’s appointment was “unconstitutional, according to the Times. The motion did not name Miller.

Stone has become a focus of Mueller’s probe in recent weeks after it was revealed that he met with a Russian national during the campaign who asked for money in exchange for dirt on Hillary Clinton.

The Washington Post was first to report on the meeting between Stone and the Russian, Henry Greenberg. Stone has argued that he didn’t tell congressional investigators about his meeting with Greenberg because he didn’t remember it.

“2016 was a pretty busy year,” Stone recently told ABC News. “I don’t think a failure of memory constitutes a perjury.”

Miller did not immediately respond to TPM’s request for comment.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the 28-year-old Latina who stunned 10-term incumbent Rep. Joseph Crowley in a New York congressional race on Tuesday, is pushing back against House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s caution not to read too much into the results.

At a news conference Wednesday, Pelosi (D-Calif.) brushed off suggestions about a broader message sent by Ocasio-Cortez’s victory, saying, “They made a choice in one district.”

“So, let’s not get yourself carried away as an expert on demographics and the rest of that,” Pelosi told reporters. “We have an array of genders, generations, geography and the rest, opinion, in our caucus and we’re very proud of that.”

Its like some people can't understand that some folks principles and morals wouldn't allow them to vote for Hillary. A person should never feel bad for standing on their principles and morals.

Just because other people were dumb enough to vote for Trump doesn't mean those who didn't vote for Hillary should feel bad about it or take responsibility for how Trump fucking things up.

If people actually required better of their politicians then Hillary and Trump would've never ran because they both would've known they didn't stand a fucking chance.
