Exactly how shit was down here in south Florida last year. The hype for the Hurricane started on a Sunday night. Me and my family were already prepared well in advance. Hurricane started that Saturday. Lost electricity from Saturday night til Sunday night. Yes there was damage but not at catastrophic as they claimed it would be. Hell people fled to Georgia and Tallahassee when they really didn’t need to. All this hype and it wasn’t even that bad

Because it’s been then done that with me. I’ve seen all those so called horrific hurricanes. Unless it’s a category 5 and it’s eye is heading towards my city, I’m staying put
 
Just saw a lady on the news with a horrible connection talking about how she doesn't think it's gonna be that bad. I mean the connection was horrible.......

I think you have a misunderstanding of how evacuations work. It's not like there's whole ass cities where 500k people can just show up and ask if they can crash for a few days. Time, resources, first aid, there's so much shit that has to be organized. With not enough time to organize it and I don't care how early they warn you. There is no plan anywhere in the United States for hundreds of thousands of people to just leave and go somewhere els for an undetermined amount of time. You're explaining this like get out of harms way means that you just hop in the Suburban and chill in a parking lot somewhere until a storm that likely just devastated your town passes. This ain't it.

I don't care about hundreds of thousands of people, I'm leaving. If those people like y'all then they go stay and roll the dice. I don't need to stay where I'm going for a long time, one or two days should be fine before I head back to survey the damage.

A catastrophic hurricane is never over. The damage is irrepairable. Have you ever been to NO before and after Katrina? Miami before and after Andrew? New York before and after Sandy? This ain't a thunderstorm nigga. This ain't a flash flood.

Nigga bout to come back home to no home. Houses will be gone. Roads will be blocked. Neighborhoods will be inhabitable. Look at what Katrina did to The Superdome and you think niggas finna go back to their 1,500 square foot one story no basement houses like they just got a few days off from work? A niggas whole job could be lost due to a hurricane.
