They should have just given Vegeta the Kefla fight anyway. Goku doesn't even give a fuck about Saiyans really, so it doesn't make sense to have the big Saiyan vs Saiyan battle to go to Goku especially if they are setting up some future Saiyan storyline for Vegeta.

Ok I'm late and I may get kicked out of this thread but I wanna know....


How is Dragon Ball Z still going? Growing watching the series plus Dragon Ball GT I thought Goku died and the last episode was him made out of an statue and shit?

It's been a minute, but what timeline y'all on because I wasn't aware there was still episodes of dragon Ball Z coming out. The last super Saiyan level was 4 in dragon Ball GT.

There are a lot of episodes to catch up on but you can skip it and go straight to the Trunks arc and go from there. Just recently a new form was introduced called Ultra Instinct, which basically slows down time for the fighter and allows them to move extremely quick analysing moves and attacking/defending.

They are on the path to retconning the end of Z as well with them still hinting at Uub. They could actually jump time forward or something since the world of voide could have it's on time.

They're going to keep this going as long as they can tho. The amount of money Dragonball is worth as a brand is insane.

GT isn't canon cause Tori didn't work on it so Super is the official continuation of the timeline.

So when vegeta was dodging all of jirens punches, doed that mean he was moving just as fast as goku using UI? Or was he just predicting his movements?

They kinda already separated it though when Goku fought Kafla. His physical attacks weren't hurting her despite him instinctively dodging

Did Whis not say that shit or was the subtitles wrong lol?
 
Whis didn't really say it was separate. That's just kinda what people ran with. Whis just said that Goku's body was moving instinctively when dodging, but he's still has to think when switching from defense to offense. Because of that he wasn't really able to use the attack as effectively while using UI.
So it's not that there is a separate defensive UI and offensive UI, some just speculated that it should be possible to master attacking in UI while struggling to defend.
