I was going to stick up for the movie but I've only seen it once and thought it was cool. I'll wait until I see it again to form a firm opinion.

Read some rumors today that wb/dc plans to do a reboot of the dceu but in a somewhat confusing way.
So as of today, the "official" dceu franchises are: wonder woman, shazam, aquaman, , suicide squad, birds of prey and the flash who has a film looking for a new director again.
They also have a new "dc black" which is where the joker movie will fall and other films meant to be completely stand alone and not canon.
But then they have matt Reeves and his batman film and a supergirl film in development that do not fall into either category. The rumor is that the supergirl film and batman film will be in connected universes. Then the plan is for the flash to have a flashpoint type of event that will combine the Reeves batman universe and the current dceu, bringing in matt Reeves younger batman into the dceu and bringing in supergirl and the kryptonians.
Just completely rumors but I thought it was an interesting theory.

The MCU is doing the same thing.
I know the DCEU hasn't built up as much cache with the fans but I feel if the teaser and trailer are dope fans will check It out. I'm rooting for Ava to do well on this because alot of folks killed "A Wrinkle in Time". I didn't go watch that because it didn't look like something I would be interested in. She is great with documentaries and things dealing with social injustice but I don't want people to pigeon hold her into that box.
I'm rooting for this movie for her and the DCEU.
