FEATURED The Official 2024 Presidential Election Thread

I’m beginning to think she didn’t pick Shapiro so she wouldn’t be overshadowed. That’s not necessarily a bad thing because every Presidential candidate takes that into consideration.
Oh yeah that’s definitely part of it

She needs someone with a milquetoast personality to not get outshined

I honestly think Walz gives Trump more ammunition against Kamala than any of the other candidates. They are going to air those protests in all of their ads because they know how effective scare tactics are on their voters.

And they already airing clips on Fox News where he’s saying one person’s socialism is the next person’s neighborliness. And a clip where he says he’ll invest in ladders if Trump builds the wall. Of course taken out of context but still.
I think he's step in more progressive direction. He has been able to pass some pretty progressive laws even with a slim congressional majority.

From reporting on CNN Shapiro basically talked himself out of the job. What he wanted was to be more like co-presidents.

But in addition to that IMO I don't think America is ready for 2 "others" running the country.

Others? 😂...man, barely

It’s honestly better for men in the long term that the first female president is not somebody viewed as extremely capable. If that wasn’t true, Biden would have been the last male president.

My experiences in corporate America have shown me that women in executive positions are typically many times more effective at their jobs than their male counterparts.
