Democrat loyalists don't seem to understand that nobody fucking likes them but they are just a better option.

They rely on running around the country, sounding the alarm on how evil the Republicans are.

Donald Trump is an 80 yr old man that survived an assassination attempt and was doing speeches the next day.

He got shot and stood up and said fight. Took one of the most iconic photographs in American history.

Lol, if Donald Trump was 45, he would be king by now.

Being safe, rational, non-threatening, inspires nothing to change and motivates no one.

Democrats win because the other side actually knows to how to create and galvanized true believers and what they want is scary to normal people.

She also doesn’t need Black women to blindly vote for her to win. Democrats were more popular than Trump voters before today and that doesn’t change after Biden dropping out.

Kamala being at the top of the ticket GROWS the Democratic voting base more than Trump’s base has grown since 2020 and that’s what really matters.

Also, her popularity is that of the Democratic party. Democrats are more popular nationally than Republicans. You need to understand that first before assuming that people like Republicans as much nationally as you think.

Son, I did campaign work for the Democrats in the late 90s, don't speak as if some of us don't know the political machine.

Kamala wasn't the nominee because no one liked her. When she was here in Cali she wasn't liked. Every national poll has her popularity as low. She's being picked for one reason, to save down ballot races, and because no one worth a damn is jumping into the race less than 4 months til the election.

Tell me again how she changes the map? What states does she put in play?

Every swing state in play is still in 2020 is still in play in 2024.

Also, you are ignoring the FACT that Trump has not gained popularity outside of his base. The same base that was not as popular as Democrats in 2016 and 2020.

You can explain your distain for Kamala and even Democrats but why are you ignoring how unpopular Trump and Republicans are in those same states?

Hilary was unlikeable but certainly more popular. It's not about who is more popular. Its about which party will people get their asses in the booth for.

homeland security, lack of social safety nets, higher taxes on middle-class, predatory interest loaning/lending, removal of environmental protections, trickle down economics etc..

All mainstays of the Republican party, all very unpopular on a national scale, however people will get their asses down to the booth to vote for the party trying their best to implement these ideas into legislation and have been doing so.

I didn't say that Kamala needed blind voting, l just don't think that it's going to happen like when Obama was elected. The novelty of "voting for the first _____" has definitely worn off for a lot black people. She going to have to come with some plan to create substantial enthusiasm for her.
