My opinions certainly aren’t be all end all, but I guess you need to like the characters in Station 11. The shit really starts coming together towards the end of the season.

Like I said, my opinions aren't the be all end all, but I truly am a sucker for a good character study, and Station 11 was great for that. I also thought Station 11 did a great job showing brutal realities while also showing how important things like art and culture are to humanity. S11 showed that there are people that maintain society, and they are very important, but art is what drives society forward, which is also very important. I'm saying this as someone who does NOT have an artsy fartsy personality. I just felt like it was a very deep story that was tied together very very well. TLOU, to me, isn't saying the same shit S11 did. Maybe I'm looking too deep into things.
I will concede however, it was much slower than TLOU and I can see why people would find S11 boring.

I wish people would stop talking about how few infected there is. Especially those that have played the games because they more than most should know that the infected were almost entirely a gameplay element. You could tell the entirety of the story of the last of us without showing a single infected outside of the moments already showcased within the show.
This episode was award worthy and had amazing acting performances by everyone. My only small personal gripe is I wish they didn’t change Joel pulling Ellie off of David when she blacks out on him.
