Crazy that I just saw a video of Diddy and Khalid getting amped about a lil baby and durk song that he was producing. Diddy is 53 and Khalid is 47 and they getting buck rapping the lyrics to young nigga murder music. Music that has young programmed black men dying and getting incarcerated at an alarming rate. It’s no longer just music.
And then I thought, damn, what if this was Lyor Choen and Rick Rubin in a room giving daps to each other off this hit song that’s gonna make them alot of money promoting black and black violence and death. Twitter would burn down. But because it’s US, we don’t care. The ill shit is that these men have been in the marketing meeting that’s giving cold stone cold corporate facts about how this music affects youth.
