The trip part about it, most of these non southern posters think all of us are like this.

The only time I've met anyone who talks like this are the people who live in the most rural areas of the state. Nola and Lafayette probably have the two most distinct accents in the state. Baton rouge is a melting pot for both of them. I have a lil twang but it seems to only come out when I say certain words as I've been told.
