Deion Sanders told everyone that HBCUs are capable of competing with PWIs and that young Black men should forgo their own individual aspirations to get to the NFL, to take care of their family, to go to an HBCU.

An older, accomplished, NFL HOFer, one of the greatest athletes to every fucking exist in American history, is guaranteeing that he can make you a pro, that you don't gotta go to a PWI like he did...bolts after 3 seasons?

Deion went there with high aspirations that everyone would realize the new day and meet his level of expectations of the future he saw before him. Then he got met with the reality of the misappropriation of funds that happen because not enough people question leadership because regardless of color, those with power influence usually use it to enrich themselves.

Then he got met with reality that trying to bring positive change comes with a fight of people that want things to stay the same. Then he got met with the reality that trying to be an agent of change makes you a martyr for change.

He got met with a lot reality’s that a lot of people are all talk until they have to live up to that talk. That man looked at those realties and realized…his mission is legit. His mission is just, his mission was to raise up the lively hood and careers of himself and those around him. He realized he can only bring a few with him on that journey.

He realized what a lot of us realize. Everyone..everyone always try’s before they realize the truth.

I hear you but tell me how what he was going to do at JSU was gonna help other HBCUs they would be the Alabama of HBCUs all the top kid would’ve went there they wouldn’t of went to Southern or Grambling or any MEAC. This the age where kids can transfer much easier. HBCUs money wise not gonna catch up with PWInand HBCUs ain’t trying to become sport factories.

Deion Sanders kid, Shaedeur or whatever, wasn't really shit as a QB.

He was a mid-major prospect at best if he wanted a chance to start right away, even with Deion coaching him.

He goes to Jackson State and kinda lights it up.

He's a sophomore and Deion is doing everything he can give his child the best chance at going pro because I bet his kid gonna start at shitty University of Colorado.

He gonna take his child to PWI to have a best chance at going pro.

He gonna leave your 5 star kid at Jackson State after he convinced him to do it for his race lol.

Everybody see the point, Black folks don't just want to admit is that a major reason why we are the way we are is because everyone does this shit.

Every Black person who can't get accepted by the Whites, runs back to Black folk, and says a bunch of pro-Black shit, and does whatever they need to do amongst Black people to get recognized by White people and then run back to White people and get what they want from the Whites.


And instead of us being like, "Wait a minute...you said the White boys weren't fucking with you..."

How dumb can we be? But then you think about it some more...it's not because we are dumb, it's because that's what we all aspire to do.

Because that's what 90 percent of Black folks do that make it to the top. Their job to rally Black people to White people's shit, using pro-Blackness, after they get the support of Black folks.

Deion couldn't get a head coaching job from the White boys, so he got it from Black folks but used pro-Black rhetoric and his celebrity to get top players to JSU, so he can dominate the SWAC. He had a fucking all-star team.

Now he is expected to do the same for White ass, cracker ass Colorado.

I am not saying Deion can't leave and do what he wants, but he give JSU 3 years after they gave him the full control of the program. He never coached on the college level before. Let him start his average ass son. He caused all this hoopla about HBCUs should be able to compete with PWIs and equality and this and that but he only willing to stay 3 years so he can coach his son can at a D1 PWI.

I am telling y'all about this got damn celebrities. Throw them away.

It's hard to really criticize Deion. He put in his time at Jackson State. I guess it really comes down to how long people think he should have bee committed to that school. If he's done enough to bring some extra attention to HBCUs and convince some higher ranked players to give them a shot, is that good enough for him to move on make what is probably a better career move for him personally?

In a study published last month in the journal JAMA Neurology, researchers from Columbia University found racial and ethnic disparities in brain markers of Alzheimer’s disease and related cases of dementia. The scientists analyzed MRI scans of nearly 1,500 participants, and found that Black adults in their mid-50s were more likely than white or Hispanic adults of the same age group to show white-matter lesions in their brains, which are indicators of cerebrovascular disease or cognitive decline.

Yeah, I mean I feel like he's done everything he can at that school, so him moving on shouldn't be that much of a problem outside of him basically bailing on recruits that may have come there just for him.
