It's not all him. The owner is kinda bullshiting cause he doesn't want to guarantee anyone but me to work every night so it's hard for my guy to put solid dudes behind me cause the owner is picking and choosing how many guys he wants to work every night last minute instead of moving with consistency.

Guys aren't just gonna sit around and wait. There's always other work. I tried to explain this to the owner last night cause he was complaining about the quality of the security dude sent. Like I don't even mind bringing the guy I work for more solid guys to have behind me but I'm not gonna bring anyone in to an unstable situation. I gotta be able to make some guarantees. If the owner isn't going to guarantee work for anyone but me I'm not even sure I can remedy the situation tbh. I like the owner and management, they treat me very well but I might just have to keep it moving cause the value for security overall isn't there. They always look at it as cost. Realistically 1 or 2 tables covers the cost of security every night.

Gotta think of a way to monetize it though.
 
That thing I've trying to understand all my life is what's the appeal of "professional wrestling" once you find out it's a fake sporting event and everything is rigged to promote another wrestler.

I've been watching wrestling YouTubers to try to understand and I still don't get it.

That whole "it's fake" response is outdated af. Newsflash...we know. Lol!

The wrestlers atheletism...the injuries...all real. The appeal is mostly them doing things you'd think no human is allowed to do.

Also...depending on the promotion...the storytelling can be intriguing. So add that wit the atheletism...plus the excitement of the crowd.. you got a good pro wrestling show.

It is like watching a broadway show in my opinion. You know that is fake. They are all actors and actresses playing a role. Some better than others. It is just the stories are a lot less simpler but they are telling a story none the less. It is a form of entertainment at the end of the day

I guess for me, the characters and shit weren't all that interesting once you find out how wrestling works.

Lol like when I was a kid and found out that it was scripted I was pretty much done because then it wasn't all that interesting after that.

I went from a fan to a non-fan in that instant.

Then its like a dude soap opera with stunts. But the story isn't compelling enough if it isn't real.

I was always interested in real things or things that approached reality as much as possible. I'm not really into escapist entertainmentm

I didn't celebrate Christmas for 5 years straight as a kid when I found out Santa Claus wasn't real, straight up insulted my parents was telling me Santa was giving me gifts when I know he ain't real.

Only now started getting into girls with fake asses...since real ass is mostly unimpressive in comparison.

Lol I just can't deal...it's definitely a personality thing.
