Do you have an entertainment package in there? Because that must be a fun ride? Do they have assigned seats. Or is there a fight for shotgun and stuff. Also, sorry for asking these questions when people are involved in serious debates but this is interesting to me.

I actually agree with this. It's something I had to realize about myself. I used to be one of those coaches that yelled. I never cussed at kids, but i would yell. But I've evened out now and it's more about a balance and teaching lessons. Football is the ultimate team sport, and it requires focus and self accountability. Of course we have fun with it, but when it's game time, it's game time. It's more about teaching discipline and leadership for some. A lot of these boys I coach dont have their dad's around, so to me, it's more than football.

had either of them lived a week longer, there's no way to know what might have said in their next speech....
no one knows what the implications of those next words could have been....
to speculate that it might have been enough for someone to feel that they couldn't live no more is not much of a reach....

With all do respect, sometimes joining a gang or the police or the army isn't a choice. If your family is all involved in certain things and you don't feel or know other ways it becomes part of your life. You who said you live in reality is going against that reality with certain statements. Open your mind a little.
not only that....
joining a gang does not shred you of our humanity....
there may be many bad things you do.... but you are not necessarily a bad person, and still may be worth some memorial service when you're gone....
like i don't want to get too far away from the topic here...so i keep bringing it back....
you're not a fool if you feel sorrow and mourn the death of a loved one who joined a gang....and you're certainly not a fool for loving one who joined the military....
even if you don't agree with their choices....that harsh of a judgement is wack as shit....cuz if we get technical...none of us are truly innocent of anything
