Right because the only thing stopping us from getting reparations is Kamal Harris waving her Black Girl Magic wand 3 days after being elected

Bout time
You're missing the point

You'd think after making a statement like that she'd have a bag of goodies in store for black women/people but no that's where it stops.

She expects acknowledgement to be enough to pacify us. She thinks platitudes will suffice

thats all los needs lmao

doesnt take much to impress him

So the response to this is for niggas to reject everything that isn't Black people specific? At what point are Black people going to stop trying to play both sides?

Do niggas really want to be apart of American society or do they want to reap the benefits of living in America but be totally segregated from American society?

Do Black people want to have our own America in America? How the fuck is that gonna work?

Or.............

Is all we're really asking for is to just be treated fairly in American society?

If that's the case then achieving that does not require that many Black specific tangibles or agendas.
Black folks been hurt a long time bruh, them feelings been rubbed raw and broken promises have littered the yard. Most still feel disappointed since the days after the Civil War, Reconstruction, Jim Crow, Separate but Equal, Redlining, Voter Suppression, Police Brutality, Mob Brutality, Jewish folks being apologized to and money sent their way for crimes committed against them locally and during Hitler's run and Black folks can barely get an acknowledgement of wrong-doings and debt owed and little effort made to make a ppl whole, Native Americans having land returned and government deals made, Japanese Americans being made whole after foul treatment during WW2, etc etc and for many it seems like new folks coming in get the better treatment after the elder negros laid down the nicer pavement.

Again not knocking what you're saying I see the legitimacy of it, however just pointing out why black folks feel a way, at least from my talks with older and younger, poor and well off... and no matter how you slice it, that anger and disappointment can't just be pushed aside.
