And of course we know he'll be appointing others to positions, but again, the Harris pick doesn't signal to me that Biden's choice will do shit for us.

Are you aware of how our government works? You know that the Senate is up for grabs for the Dems right? There's gonna be a mid term in 2022. You know that he has to make a VP selection with that in mind right? This election is not about the next 4 years. You have to look past that.

While you and many other black folks struggle and wrestle with getting past voting for Joe Biden and waiting for a savior that doesn't exist "they" will continue to vote for their people regardless. What do you think is gonna happen while you and other black people get past voting for Joe Biden? Let me preface by saying I'm not attacking you personally

Well Joe Biden just put a 55 year old black woman who happens to be one of the most qualified candidates on the ticket with him. I'm sorry but is that not progressive? There were people crying about it not being old white man Bernie sanders and old white woman Liz Warren or even older black candidates. Kamala is relatively young to be on the stage that she's on in Congress. She's black. She is a woman.

Does every single box need to be checked for niggas to vote or do black people not understand the concept of gains and how they work?

Every election I think niggas more and more are waiting for a mythical savior that does not exist. This whole time could be spent making any small gains we can until something really changes but nope. Niggas will shoot everything down unless we get it all back at once.

400 years and niggas think we can fix it all at every single election.

Black people need to be better at accepting progress. Niggas are so beat down and scorned hat that don't even know that they are voting against their own interest because of a thing here or there. Not realizing that there are substantial gains to be made but since it doesn't sound right they wanna throw the whole baby away. Sometimes that baby is gonna shit up their back. That doesn't mean that you need to throw it away. Take you gains and move forward. WTF are we honestly waiting for? in 2020? What are niggas waiting for? Okay so you didn't get what you wanted now what? You gonna come back in 2024 with the same approach? Stop running away when everything is not right.

Biden is trash, plain and simple. By balancing, I mean picked someone who we could at least hope would influence him within the next 4 years.

And why do you keep asking "are you aware"? Clean up your talking points fam. This election IS about the next 4 years. None of us know how long we have on this Earth, or our families. And Biden wouldn't be the guy to lead us past 4 years anyway. This isn't about looking for a savior, it's about looking for a someone who actually represents US. Crazy concept right? Electing someone who will actually make our votes worth something.

Im def not in the "no vote" crowd although I understand and empathize with their position on the matter.

I was just speaking specifically about the WHITE politicians when I made that statement. Most white folks 50 and older were probably raised by or are the white folks in these pictures

I know. And Biden selected a 55 year old experienced black woman as his running mate. She has voted the same as Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren 93% of the time and they are considered progressive right? I'm just saying I think selecting Kamala was a progressive move and it's hard to argue that it's not.
