I've met black people who'll have one bad experience with a black partner and write off the whole race.
Ask em if it's been all peachy keen with dating outside the race the answer is No but they're somehow able to overlook the bad experience in dating outside and not write off said race.

Yeah they got have some intentions. If they want a more traditional female you think how that chick would be spending her time. Yeah she might go out and twerk with her girls a weekend here or there. But she also might really be into gardening and volunteers at urban farms.
I got into the vegan lifestyle and meet brother's at local farms and community events.
Like what they gonna do with these women when they get with them? Go to bars and lounges and fuck all the time?
People are multi faceted and in my experience when I met people doing things like I described, I found more success.
But I also had to look at and understand what I wanted. For example I have been with a super traditional black man, didn't want me to work, had a certain way we were to communicate with each other. I have also been with men who were less controlling...so those experiences help me learn what I want. I have dated black men from all different walks of life and black men not from America. I was in the military and traveled alot for work and I think traveling is important.
You live in Hawaii? Like permanently I have never been but always wanted to go. They have beautiful hiking trails.

It's also interesting that many people don't seem to realize that the dating struggles most experience, as @Royal said, often help you figure out what you do and don't want and need from a partner so some of those instances are necessary in life to go through.
