i hear everything you saying.....I see what you saying, but ya'll really gotta stop acting like all black people are in the same situation. Are there pockets in this country where the black people that live there could band together and create something devoid of white influence? Maybe. There was a Black Wallstreet. There was similar place in Wimington, NC. I'm sure there were other comparable black areas throughout this nation's history, and we know what happened to them. However, not every black person lived in or near one of those places just like not every black person in the country now lives in ATL or the DC metropolitan area. So, yeah, we should do what we can to build strong communities or four own, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't fight for justice and equal treatment under the laws and systems of this land. That's not a matter of asking for charity. That's a matter of demanding what you're rightfully owed. Even if the government isn't going to give us money, they should at least be pushing policies that will undo the damage that the previous racist policies have done. If that doesn't happen, a lot of what you think can be done won't be as effective as you think it will be.
lets go after their money after we all have money.
lets build up our community then go after them.
i will say it again....we have all we need. and what we dont have we can build on our own.
that dont mean to stop trying to get what rightfully belongs to our ancestors with interests......i never said that. i am saying stop making them and what they owe us the first priority........i think and feel our first priority is building and stabilizing communities.
we dont need to live on what happened to our black communities because ....we need to learn from them.
stop looking at it in a negative way and learn to improve moving forward.
i can say alot of black businesses failed. but that dont mean i will fail.
change the perspective. what happened in Wilmington and tulsa......could happen again. but are you going to live on that and not try? or build and understand we ca defend ourselves now?
we need to build to strengthen the youngins to get whats owed.....we may not get it and need to be ok with that. but as long as its gotten...does it matter if you get it our your children get it?
i think too many people are focused on them getting it and not the next generation.
so im not saying not to go after whats owed or respect or equality of whatever.......that just not my lane.
my lane is more on...fuck them......im trying to build an infrastructure and comfort for my people to come back to.
you do whats in your lane.
we all trying to get to the same point but taking different paths.
respect.
