WWE issued an announcement this morning, confirming that as of Tuesday 9/12, Endeavor's aquisition of the company will take hold, meaning that for the first time since its existence, WWE will not be owned and controlled by the McMahon family.

WWE and MMA powerhouse UFC will be merged under Endeavor into a new company, TKO Group Holdings, which will be publicly traded.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. & STAMFORD, Conn. (September 7, 2023) – Endeavor Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: EDR) (“Endeavor”) and World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: WWE) (“WWE”) today announced they expect to close the previously announced transaction to form TKO Group Holdings, Inc. (“TKO”) on September 12, 2023, after which time TKO will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “TKO”.

I just wanna know how this affects my stock
 
As PWInsiderElite.com has previously noted, WWE officials were waiting for a certain point in order to pull the trigger on LA Knight's push. PWInsiderElite has learned that Knight and the company have been negotiating a new long-term deal, believed by some sources to be as long as five years, and that the deal is either close to closing or has already closed. The contract was what WWE had been waiting to lock into place before going forward with Knight's push. Going forward Knight will be pushed as one of, if not the, top babyface for the Smackdown brand.
