Brock won bc he signed a new deal due to Reigns being gone

Daniel Cormier and Brock Lesnar’s UFC heavyweight title fight is far from a guarantee. Not only does Lesnar need to successfully fulfill his United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) obligations, but now his WWE responsibilities come into play. Due to Lesnar’s previous suspension, he must deliver six months worth of clean USADA testing before being eligible to fight again.

Should all go well, that makes Lesnar eligible to fight in early 2019. The UFC has already teased a heavyweight title fight between Cormier and Lesnar. “The Beast” confronted “DC” inside the Octagon after his title win at UFC 226 this past summer. Should the UFC want to make the fight happen, all the chips are in place.

Lesnar is doing well with USADA for the time being, and Cormier retained his heavyweight title against Derrick Lewis this past weekend (Sat. November 3, 2018). However, Dave Meltzer of MMA Fighting reports Lesnar recently signed a new contract with WWE. Due to top WWE star Roman Reigns’ recent leukemia diagnosis, the company is down a top star. Lesnar will now be in demand for WWE through April for WrestleMania:

“Lesnar agreed secretly to the new deal, and won the pro wrestling championship again. The new deal is for multiple shows. But its length of time has been kept secretive. But it is known that Lesnar is scheduled as late as April of next year for WrestleMania.”

That may complicate things, as Cormier plans on retiring no later than his 40th birthday in March. However, Lesnar’s deal with WWE isn’t exclusive. He’s still able to fight in the UFC should he choose to do so. It should also be noted that Lesnar has not signed a contract with the UFC as of this writing.

The coming months will be extremely telling in regards to Lesnar’s future with both WWE and the UFC.

Drew is a heel and should stay that way.
If wwe had no intention on putting the title on Braun they shouldn’t put him in championship matches only to be pinned. his value is dropping
I'm all for heel vs heel or face vs face title matches/title changes .... I can't see braun winnin tha royal rumble (he already won the grr) as far as bein put in title matches only ta get pinned he shouldn't feel too bad nakamura had about 9 ppvs were he ate tha pin

Braun isn’t ready? He’s been built up as the next big thing since 2016. He said never held a title yet. You damn right they did him dirty

Guess Braun might have heat...

According to a new report from PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson, one of the reasons why WWE seems to be hesitant to push Braun Strowman to the next level is because he has some heat with WWE officials backstage.

Although WWE officials are generally pleased with his performances, he sometimes upsets people backstage by not adhering to certain backstage etiquette. Specifically, he reportedly has a tendency to show up late and/or leave shows early.

Johnson reported the following (via WrestlingNews.co):

"One of the things that I heard from multiple people — we’re talking four different people. There are times where Strowman is negligent when it comes to showing up on time.

“He has a reputation at times for leaving a little early and sometimes he makes mistakes in terms of etiquette backstage in the locker room. Sometimes, as one person put it, ‘He’s his own worst enemy and his worst advocate.’

“They would be high on him and just when he gets to the point where you would think the next step is putting him into the centerpiece position for the company, [then] something happens and he makes some sort of misstep backstage and people within management kind of cool on him and they take a step back.”

Fightful is reporting that WWE RAW will not be allowed any leeway in extending their programming, and that they will have a ‘hard’ out time of 11 pm EST.

From the 90s, Monday Night RAW has enjoyed a ‘soft’ out time, meaning that they could afford certain segments dragging out past the stipulated finishing time. This came in particularly handy when the WWE and WCW were both trying to glean an advantage over the other in whichever way possible.

However, a source close to the situation has claimed that this situation is set to change from as soon as next week’s episode of RAW. Fightful is also reporting that this change is happening because of a directive from USA Network.

Currently, SmackDown Live is also operating under a strict out time. It looks like we can expect Monday Night RAW to follow suit as well.

theres another story claiming that he working through injuries and they bad. the report said that his knees were shot and that the over the top F5 he took at Crown Jewel really aint help the situation. That was basically the reason given for him taking the L. Idk though cause I feel like even if he was in tip top shape they would of given the strap back to Lesnar if they knew he'd resign
