Official Wrestling News Thread

Daniel Bryan turning heel and winning the WWE Championship on Tuesday's SmackDown Live shocked everybody, from wrestlers to producers and senior WWE officials.

Bryan and AJ were also surprised by the decision and didn't know this would go down until Vince McMahon gave the order just 20 minutes before SmackDown Live went on air.

A source close to the situation has told WNS that the decision was in reaction to the Jax/Lynch situation and was drawn up to create interest for Sunday's Survivor Series. Vince and WWE producer Kevin Dunn are reportedly extremely unhappy with Jax and her current push will be scaled back or halted altogether.

As it related to Becky Lunch, her return timetable should be known by Friday, Monday the latest. They really don't want to take the title off her and may do some sort of multi week #1 contender tournament. This will all be decided when a timetable for return is known.
I heard that bryan wanted ta go heel in part that he felt that tha yes movement wasn't as strong as far as crowd reaction as it once was

You go from being a bum on the lower indies get a one night jobber spot on WWE then get brought back and get to have a WWE World title shot and mixed in with AJ Styles(which in any other world would never happen on WWE TV) and then a run with a bad blonde then having the other big promotions book you to feeling yourself and sending dick picks to a child???????????????????????? Probably the most confidence he has ever held in his whole life with the past 3 years.

For a match that was thrown together at the last minute Charlotte vs. Ronda Rousey certainly delivered at last night's WWE Survivor Series.

An insider source has told WrestlingNewsSource.com, that the match couldn't have ended any other way. Ronda is still very much Vince McMahon's "golden goose" in the women's division. Our source also told us Charlotte is destined to be much like Undertaker, Vince's deity-like creation that will stand the test of time. As dramatic as that sounds these are terms being bandied about by McMahon right now.

In other women's division news, the long-rumored Four Horsewomen vs. Four Horsewomen has no trigger date. Vince feels Marina Shafi and Jessamyn Duke are still "too green" but setting that up was at one stage an option, Becky more than likely would've run out with some of weapon to scare the MMA's off, thus avoiding any bumps, not the case last night though.

According to EWrestling.com, a list of "banned words" from a WWE production sheet for Survivor Series was uncovered. Here are the words that announcers are reportedly told not to use:

Belt
Feud
Strap
Kill
Hate
Stupid
Hell
Ass
Violence
Fake
Revenge
Number One Contender
In the back
National Television
DQ
Spot
Girls

It appears that the leaked production sheet had accurate information since it listed various PPV results that ended up being true.
