Ciampa suffered the same injury and his was worse. He had to do the spinal fusion surgery. Big E doesn't even have to do that.

Barring any complications...if doctors give the full clear, then E will definitely be back.

Either way buddy accomplished the main title and had a great run. If he retired tomorrow i would say he left a good mark for himself. Hopefully not and he can ride it out with New Day if thats what folks like. Im good on another main event run tho for now

Didn't Edge had to "retire" b/c of his neck?

Yep. Supposedly that fusion surgery does shave years off the career if you get it. Thats why Austin retired even tho he had returned from his broken neck. And Ciampa has said in the past he won't be able to go much longer either.

Sheamus also needed that surgery though... but he somehow avoided it and just modified his in ring style.

While there have been conflicting reports about Cody and WWE in recent weeks, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com provided a “definitive” update on the matter…

“Cody Rhodes has signed with WWE, multiple WWE sources have confirmed. Rhodes inked his deal about 10-14 days ago. The current plan is to have Rhodes debut Wrestlemania weekend with the early word among those in the company being that Rhodes will be on the RAW brand.”

It has been speculated that Rhodes will end up being Rollins’ opponent for Wrestlemania 38.
