There was a reference made by Triple H during Smackdown about him having been "demoted", which is a story that popped up online stemming from Triple H receiving a new corporate title, Executive Vice President, Global Talent Strategy & Development. During Smackdown, Triple H commented that he was busier than ever, which we are told is 100% the case. We are told that Triple H had been charged with spearheading a WWE decree to develop and open new WWE Performance Centers (domestically and internationally) so that the company can expand the number of the talents they groom for the future. Triple H remains overseeing all things WWE NXT but his major focus is continuing to set up the future of the company.

As part of Triple H's new job, Brad Blum, who answers directly to Vince McMahon as the company's Chief of Staff, has taken on far more responsibilities of his own, with a number of departments, including Talent Relations and WWE Legal now answering directly to Blum, where before they answered to Triple H.

For those who have asked about the women's tag team bout that opened Smackdown, the talents did not keep wrestling during the commercial break.

Neither Paige nor Nia Jax were at the Performance Center today. We are told the plan to use Paige on the show changed due to running at the PC.

Jeff Hardy's Twist of Fate was called The Twist of Fury on Smackdown by Michael Cole on commentary as Matt Hardy has exited the company and owns the trademark on that term.

The rings that are usually set up in the PC were broken down and transported to a warehouse WWE utiizes across the road from the PC.

Mojo Rawley, who had been on the Raw brand, appeared on Smackdown tonight and announced Rob Gronkowski would appear on next week's episode. Rawley said he would be with Gronk.

A contract signing between WWE Universal
Champion Bill Goldberg and Roman Reigns is set for next week's episode of Smackdown.

I've seen a lot of people say that they waiting for Miami to shut them down because if they do it themselves they lose all that money but if Miami pulls the plug then they gotta pay Vince

I think all the events the day before mania ended up getting cancelled together, all but the hall of fame shit i guess

honestly i'd rather have the shorter takeover card than that long ass shit they got set up for mania

Idk how true it is but theres news going around now that they're still considering just pushing mania back till July and having it at the Garden
