Earlier today, it was reported women’s division star Nia Jax has been cleared to return to action. Jax has been out since last April after having double ACL surgery.

According to PW Insider, Jax will be used on the SmackDown brand going forward. Reports are that the former Raw women’s champion will even be at this Friday’s taping when WWE invades the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit Michigan.

A rumored story was that the SmackDown women’s championship, currently held by Bayley, would be defended in a Six-Pack challenge at WrestleMania 36. Whether Jax is entered into the conversation for that matchup remains to be seen.

World Wrestling Entertainment has pulled the plug on this Friday's Smackdown taping in Detroit, Michigan and will instead broadcast Friday Night Smackdown and 205 Live this week from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources.

The decision was made today due to the current coronavirus outbreak.

An official announcement regarding the change is forthcoming.

WWE might as well tell all talent to just go home, risking people's lives making them travel through airports ain't worth it. The same with AEW and any other promotion

all these promotions probably gonna end up cancelling their shit going forward

NJPW already doing empty arena shows

they could always do that with the performance center too, honestly. Im guessing tomorrows smackdown will have no live crowd either

Sooo there’s a meeting in Tampa tomorrow to decide if mania will be cancelled or postponed

9/10 that shit about to get cancelled because this cornavirus pandemic is rampant across the country. Vince would let the show go on if it were up to him. AEW & WWE should postpone all their events until health officials can figure out a way to contain the virus.

A dude died in the ring and Vince let the show go on so he not going to let anything stop him from putting on shows if he get his way

WWE released the following statement, denying the reports that Friday's Smackdown in Detroit has been canceled and instead moved to the Performance Center in Orlando:

"WWE has not cancelled Friday Night SmackDown in Detroit, however, based on the current situation, we are putting contingency plans in place in the event that upcoming WWE shows are cancelled by government officials, civil authorities and/or local venues."

I honestly thought that shit was legit. fuckin assholes

I wonder who started that shit?

WWE issued the following statement to PWInsider.com in response to our reports over the last 24 hours that Friday Night Smackdown would be broadcast from the WWE Performance Center:

“Friday Night SmackDown on March 13 will air live as regularly scheduled and emanate from WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida with only essential personnel in attendance. The event was originally scheduled in Detroit, Michigan.”

PWInsider.com has also learned that the current plan is to broadcast the show without fans in attendance, although that could change

Will Raw go on as planned or will they wrestle at tha wwe Pc too ?

This Monday's Raw taping in Pittsburgh, PA has been canceled, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

For the first time ever, Raw will be broadcast live from the WWE Performance Center on the USA Network.

This move follows WWE's decision to cancel tonight's Smackdown taping in Detroit, moving it to the PC.

It is quite possible the the PC will be the new regular home for WWE's flagship series for the foreseeable future.
