if i was Rico i'd sign a short term contract(6 mos-1 year) to see whether or not we a good fit.
 
Ricochet was one of the highlights of Monday Night Raw whenever they decided to put him on the card. With that said they wholeheartedly failed him. "But he cant talk" give him a manager "But he's not a great babyface" change his character and make him a cocky heel. Nah instead they stuck him in 3 minute matches for a program nobody watched on Twitter.

This doesnt mean he's gonna end up in AEW and become a major player off the bat. For all I know he can sign there, have his signing be seen as a "big deal" and then quietly get lost in the shuffle like most folks who sign with TK. Where ever he ends up I hope it works out for him and he gets to re-establish and elevate his value that dropped doing nothing in WWE.

Nor should he be pushed as a top main eventer wherever he signs next. He is a hot upper mid card act at most right now. Ospreay was just like him to a T as they were mirrored images of eachother years ago and we seen how far Ospreay has come to be an all around polished wrestler now(and considered BITW rn) and hopefully if he went to AEW Ospreay can help guide him or shape him up better. If he goes to places like those hispanic companies he will just be more flippity flip Ricochet with no reason to improve on the mic.

He was utilized to his full potential in NXT and HHHs WWE

Just because he wasn’t used the way some fans wanted him to be used doesn’t mean the company failed him. He reached his ceiling

He doesnt need to be pushed as a top main eventer but he needs to be used to the best of his abilities and create the direction from there.
I actually think he should work NJPW for awhile since they are in need of some star power from what I been hearing.

Its not about how "fans wanted him used"

He's one of the best wrestlers on your entire roster and they underutilized him. Literally every flaw yall used on him I can come up with a counter to that which falls on creative. WWE just didnt put their best foot forward with him like they've done to many before him.

You sure about that? Would him turning heel fix everything? Probably not

Idk how NJPW will help his character development but aye as long as it means Ospreay V Ricochet is still a possibility with FD.
 
I also wouldn't say he is an amazing wrestler, he is an amazing athlete tho. He still got to level up in alot of areas to be considered all around like Ospreay did.

I guess this is subjective cause Idk what areas you feel in-ring wise he has to improve on. But I'm also not necessarily comparing him to Ospreay either.

Only reason I compare him to Ospreay is because they legit came in and were on the exact same style in their early careers. Only issue is one leveled the fuck up and became all around solid and one just remained doing the luchadore/indie style flipping snd flying gimmick.

Ricochet is your classic X Divison talent who hasn't really smoothed out his corners like acts like AJ, Rollins, Ospreay, etc did. And then you add trash on the mic it's just not much to work with outside a classic WCW crusierweight style match.

At the same time maybe that's just his ceiling niche and that's fine too it has its place on the card but it ain't main event yet.
